Flowers delivered to Jesenice from Ořech

Jesenice lies about 16 km south-east of central Prague. It has had town status since 2015 and had about 10,500 residents in 2025. The town comprises the parts of Jesenice, Horní Jirčany, Osnice with the settlement of Kocanda, and Zdiměřice with the settlement of Drazdy.

Maxmiliána Alsterlová z Astfeldu died in a traffic accident in December 1706, and a Baroque monument commemorates her death. A chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary stands in Zdiměřice.
