Flower delivery in Davle from a local florist
Davle is a market town about 22 km south of central Prague. It stands at the confluence of the Vltava and Sázáva rivers.
Davle is first mentioned in connection with the founding of a Benedictine monastery on St Kilian's Island in 999. The Church of St Kilian in southern Davle has Romanesque origins dating to the mid-12th century and is the only church in Bohemia dedicated to him. Davle regained market-town status in 2008. The old Davle bridge over the Vltava dates from 1905 and stood in for the famous Remagen bridge in the 1968 film about it.
In Davle, od Janičky also delivers flowers. The bouquet can be handed to the recipient at home, at work or somewhere else they are currently staying.
Possible handover points include the primary school, nursery, municipal office, Vltavanka cultural centre and sports hall. Bouquets may also be handed over at the care home, the Vltavan association museum or Pension Grado.
